Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of professional experience. In this role you will provide a variety of accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance services to our clients. Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail are vital to providing services to our clients. The Senior Accountant is responsible for learning and applying their technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant will include but are not limited to:
- Corporate, partnership and individual tax planning and preparation
- Financial statement compilations, reviews and audits
- Business advisory and consulting
- Accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services
Qualifications:
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience is required
- Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks, SAGE, and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with accounting and tax preparation services
- Ability to multitask
- Effective time management
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail on all projects
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, thrive and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- On track for CPA certification
